What's the flashing folder on the internet reset page....

I have wiped the computer and am trying to install via the internet reset. This is unsuccessful as I"m just getting a file folder flashing on a white screen. What's this folder and how do I get around it. I need to reinstall OS.

You did not make it to the Internet Recovery page.

The flashing folder, sometimes alternating with a question mark says:

I could not boot from the device you last specified, or I forgot where to said to find MacOS.

This happens when you do not hold command-R (or the similar combination you chose) soon enough at Startup/Restart.
