Just purchased a new iPhone 11. Verizon store transferred data from old to new phone. However, 24 hrs later apps are still "waiting" and not downloading. If it is an apple id problem, can't for the life of me figure out how to resolve it. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve issue. Thank you.

Apps are not stored in any backup you make and must be downloaded again.
Click on the "waiting" icon and see what happens.
