iPhone photos not appearing in iMac photos (but photos on the iMac are appearing on the phone - this is the opposite of what I required?!). I have iCloud set up/enabled etc

In the photos app settings, try turning off Icloud photos, waiting a littel, then turning it on again. This seems to trigger syncing for some people.
But I cloud sharing will share in both directions.
