Activity app - Indoor Cycle on Workout app doesn't show up in Activity stats

I've been using the Activity app on my Apple Watch 6 in conjunction with other fitness apps. When going on a run, I've used the Strava app, and after the run my daily stats in the Activity app are updated. But when riding a stationary bike, I've used "Indoor Cycle" in the Workout app, and this doesn't update the main stats in the Activity app ("Move" and "Exercise"). Yet if I scroll down on my watch in the Activity app I see my indoor cycle activity and I can click on that to see more stats. But I would like the main stats in the app ("Move" and "Exercise") to be updated. Does anyone know why those Activity stats don't reflect riding on a stationary bike, and whether there's anything I can do about that? Thanks. (I've also tried using Strava ("Indoor Ride"), and this doesn't update the Activity stats either.

The "Indoor Cycle" workout should update the "Move" and "Exercise" stats (at least after the workout is completed). The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
