Hello! I just bought MacBook air 2020. I’ve been using it for 2 days now but only for browsing so I haven’t really used it that much.. Its 25% already... do I have to drain the battery to 0% then charge it to 100%? or can I just charge it whenever I want? I need some guidance, please. Thank You so much!!!🥳

No, there is no requirement to ever drain the battery to low levels.
If you are near an AC outlet, use it on AC power.
If you need portability, use it on battery power.

You are welcome. Yes, 16 cycles wold be about right if you don’t use it with the AC adapter. As stated above, if you need portability with the Mac, you would use it on battery power. However, this will indeed add more charge cycles to the battery.
FWIW, any time the battery has to charge, whether it was at 10%
or at 90%, it counts as a cycle.
However, because of the way the MacBook Air manages charging,
charging at 90% will actually cause less "wear and tear" than
charging from 10%.
