I have the setting to keep trashed emails for a week before deleting. All of a sudden every email I delete vanishes. My Trash folder is empty. An email that was part of a chain of an email that was deleted was not put in my inbox. This latest update has messed me up!
Reinstall the OS...
Seems to fix about 90% of the problems.
