Flickering flashing touch bar on MacBook Pro 2019 13 inch

Hi. I have a 2019 Macbook Pro 13 inch, and the touch bar flashes and flickers, usually shortly after awaking from sleep. I saw one post suggesting to zap the PRAM, which I did, but the problem persists.

Is there a solution?

Thx in advance.

For touchbar issue

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

if no resolve

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

You have a limited 14 days to return for full refund or exchange on a new purchase.

After that you have a one-year warranty if it is a hardware issue.

If the machine is still under warranty bring it in.

If the machine is out of warranty, make sure you have no external peripherals other than power attached before you let the machine go to sleep, and verify this happens even with just power attached. Make sure the power adapter you have hooked up is the right wattage for the computer. If it is, and you aren't using the fingerprint recognition, you may need to have it looked at by a certified tech in any case, if there are other hardware symptoms at play. Make sure your cable for power is not frayed, and replace if it is.

Thanks much, Brody. Of course, my MacBook is about 1 year and 2 weeks from purchase, so I assume I'm out of the warranty zone. I'll try the peripherals idea. I often leave it plugged into my sound card and midi controller, so hopefully that might make a difference, though I think it's happening even without those connections. Power wattage is correct I believe, but I'll double check. Thanks very much for the helpful reply.
