The touch bar on my 15" 2018 MacBook Pro keeps flickering. It happen when it's left for a minute or so. The icons go out at and about 10 seconds later it starts flickering.

The best you can do on your Intel Mac is try both

— resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

— resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

if no resolve it typically indicates a hardware issue...

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
