I have a Mac Pro that is as updated as I can go (High Sierra) I am getting a "software update is required to connect to iPhone" when I plug my phone into my Mac to sync it with iTunes. What now? Buy a new computer? I dont think so......

The update it refers to is an update to iTunes, you do not need

to buy a new mac.
