Apple pay on MacBook Air 2020

So if you have one of these computers there is no upgrade or anything to do, you're just stuck not being able to use apple pay? There was no solution to the description page

If you have an iPhone you can turn on Allow payments on Mac. This link says that computer should have Apple Pay available. Are you in a region that supports Apple Pay?
