Move contact in favorites

I want to move a contact to to top of my favorites on iphone

The tap and move contacts in Favorites no longer works. I have done that in the past. They are not changing positions by usage either.

You can surely Tap hold and Drag it to the desired position. However, based on your use the favourites will rearrange itself.

The most number of calls made to a person will occupy the top slot in the list of favourites and so on in descending order of calls made to all your favourites.
