Touch ID - MacBook Pro - Big Sur OS

My touch ID will not work when I have anything plugged into the USB - C ports, if I take them out it works perfectly, very annoying. Is this a configuration issue? or a Glitch with Big Sur. This is a brand new MacBook Pro, purchased directly from Apple. Any thoughts, please.

Hi,

If your MacBook Pro has Intel CPU, resetting SMC could solve the issue.

Also Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports something which related Touch ID(BMT001, BMT003 to BMT005, or DFR001).
