All of a sudden today saving files to one drive on my iPad stopped working? The save icon is just greyed out when trying to save to files on onedrive?
Yup same here. Ive uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out and back in again thinking it was me. Looks like an issue with one drive. Wth!!

Ensure that your Microsoft OneDrive App has been updated to the most recent version. The App has been updated in recent days to resolve an issue.

Mine auto updates so I have no override- still can’t save from iPhone
Looks like the notes on the app say they have put it into "read only" mode - hoping they get this fixed asap
I contacted Apple support- did a ‘hard reset’, signed out/into app, and then deleted and reloaded app
Now ‘save to files’ doesn’t even allow to access OneDrive at all 🤯
It appears OneDrive for iOS is still in Read-Only mode. @Apple is there any update on when this will be resolved? Thanks,

Open a ticket with Microsoft by going to the OneDrive app and selecting Help & Feedback.
I just updated my Onedrive app today and all of sudden I am now able to save directly to OneDrive folder.
If you read the App release notes, you will see that the temporary read-only restriction was lifted universally with release of OneDrive App v12.23.2.
