I received an automated phone call about my Apple ID being compromised. Nine out of 10 I would’ve hung up on this. But the automation was well done and sounded legit. I pressed one, they answered and they hung up on me. What information could they have received by me pressing one? Does anybody know?

By pressing “1” you may have identified your number as a target for other scam calls, but other than that no harm.
Apple does not make such calls.
All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
