Big Sur update failing

My 2020 i5 Macbook Pro is on 11.0.1 and will not update to a later version (currently 11.2.2 being suggested).

It sets off updating, looks fine but then restarts still at 11.0.1.

Are there any third part AntiVirus Applications installed that could interfere with the update? If so Remove as per Developers Instructions - If - No Disregard.

Try Re-Start in Safe Mode - Shift - immediately at startup. Does a Repair Disk, clears cache files and loads only Apple Software and Fonts.
