MacBook Air - not working

My daughters MacBook Air won't work - she charged it overnight and this morning the green charge light is on but the laptop won't power up - it is completely dead. I think it is pre 2018 model - possibly 2017 but dont have the details - as they are on the laptop.

  1. Disconnect everything that may be connected to the MacBook Air. You can leave the power cord connected.
  2. Press and Hold the Power Button down for about 20 seconds and then release.
  3. If the MacBook Air does not power up then Press the Power Button again and Release.
