I cannot access my Appleid on my old MacBook Pro!

On my new MacBook Pro (2020 Intel) I have no problem and my old MacBook (mid 2009) is also registered under devices .

When accessing my Appleid on my old MacBook, the system is accepting my id and password, and after entering the numbers for the two-factor identification I receive just a white page back.

When accessing iCloud on my old MacBook, the system is asking my password over and over again. No message for wrong password. On my iPhone I receive a message for entering the two-factor numbers, but the system is asking only for my password.

Note that I did upgrade the old MacBook Pro to OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite just before I noticed this issue.

Could somebody help me?

Thank you very much

For your information:

on my old MacBook I can now enter iCloud with my Appleid account and password. From iCloud I reach my account settings.

But directly from internet into my Appleid account I am getting a white page!

Nothing is wrong with my account.

Excuse me for the trouble. Thanks

Are you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN?

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Also try the Safe Mode.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

Safe Mode - About.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply.        Pastebin.
