Hello. I am trying to edit my project on iMovie on my mac. I started the project on iPhone. I tried following tutorials. Most of them say to click on airdrop and it will ask if you want to download the Movie file or the Project file. It automatically exports to the .mov file.
Long story short, I need the .iMovieMobile project file so I can move my work to my Mac.

On your iPhone, you have to tap Export Project and then, if its the first time you have exported the project, a prompt may pop up saying "Prepare Project for Exporting" and you have to tap on that. Then tap on AirDrop and the project will export to your Mac's download folder as an .iMovieMobile file that you click on to open as a Mac iMovie file.
If the above procedure is not working it is an iPhone iOS problem rather than a Mac problem. In that case you probably should post your question in the iPhone iOS forum via the following link:
