New iMac w/ OS 11.2.3. I used to be able to go to Keychains and get a list of my stored passwords, but no longer works. Either the files there won't open or they contain info that I have no clue about. Where did my passwords all go?

At the top of the window is a list of categories. In the Keychain List, you should see several keychains.
If I can attach screen dumps, here is what I have and it does not look like what you posted. Maybe I can find your shot somewhere. ??

Do you have one of the other categories selected such that you are not seeing the passwords?
Are you using iCloud Keychain, and if so, does the iCloud Keychain show up in the keychain list?
