Background noise for the listener is extreme loud

Basically, my airpods pro are only noise cancelling for me, but the person on the other side of the line is having issues to barely understand me.

Any idea how to fix this issue? I expect a brilliant sound quality with +200$ Airpods Pro.

Thanks

Valentin

Hello,

Hmm, when you are outside, a lot of backup noise will normally be picked up. Try this:

Open the Settings app and go to the Bluetooth section. Next to the AirPods entry on the list of devices, you should see an “i” icon inside of a circle. Tap this, then select microphone, and set it to either left, right or automatic. Try switching it back and forth.

Then, test with the Voice Memos app.

Good luck.
