MacBook Air is locked don't know password

removed my MacBook from my devices. cause I lost it then found it, but couldn’t remember passcode for find my MacBook. So I thought if I removed it that would reset it, well wrong now MacBook says your computer is disabled go to find my MacBook to get pin. Can’t do that cause I removed it from my devices. Was gonna go to get verification code from my settings. I just have to wait 60 minutes to try again cause I entered wrong passcode to many times . Is there a way around all this or will I have to take it to apple store to get unlocked????!!!???!?

There may be a way to use iCloud.com to see if you could login and find it there.

Maybe that could help, try iCloud login from iPhone, or another Mac. ~ Or get in

touch with Apple more direct; instead of these pages online.

How do I unlock my Mac?

After you locate your Mac, you can unlock it with your passcode on iCloud.com. Make sure to use the passcode that you created when you locked it with Find My, not your device passcode.

"Here's how to see the passcode that you used to lock your Mac"

  1. Sign in to icloud.com/find
  2. Select your Mac from the Devices menu.
  3. Select Unlock. After you follow the steps to verify your identity, you'll see

the passcode that you need to unlock your Mac.
