On Big Sur 11.3.1, dialog popups are not responding to my mouse or trackpad.

Question says it all really. It's REALLY annoying. I've a pretty new MBP 2020, 4 thunderbolt 3 ports, 16gb, quad i5 etc. Dialog popups for both system (eg preferences) and apps (eg Adobe pdf reader) both have limited selectivity within them. I might be able to table between 3 or 4 of the 8 or so elements of the popup if I'm lucky.

Thought the recent 11.3.1 patch might fix it, but no such luck.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Feels like an OS bug, but finding it hard to believe something this basic could be inherently broken in the OS, and curious why there seems to be so little noise about it elsewhere if it's a general issue with the OS.

Grumph!

Hi navdon,

It looks like you're having issues clicking in a pop-up menu. If that's correct, let's try the following.

How to use safe mode on your Mac

See if this happens when in safe mode as well.

Cheers.
