My camera switches on and off (the green light goes on an off) and makes my image freeze during teams and zoom calls. How can i reslove this? Have a Mack Book Air 10.13.6

Try to check your built-in camera with Apple Diagnostics if it reports camera related error(NDC001, NDC003 to NDC006).

Thank you for your input. tried this and no camera related error was found.
Update from this mornings teams meeting - sometimes my image changed colour aswell, green, purple... Any other suggestions?
Update 2
Opened Photo Booth to se if the camera was disconnecting there as well, and it does.
Is there anything I can do or is it simply broken?
Camera malfunction, switches on and off.
