Big Sur 11.4 bug when a photo is used as wallpaper?

I've been using 50 landscape photos edited and cropped to my liking as the desktop background on my M1 Mini. After the Big Sur 11.4 update, my Mac displays the unedited versions of the 50 edited photos as the background. This is odd because when I go to "Change Desktop Background," all the 50 thumbnails correctly show all the edits I made. Is this a new bug?

Mac mini, macOS 11.4

Are you accessing the cropped photos from within a Photos library? If you export the cropped photos to a folder on the hard drive and access then from the System Preferences you should not get the uncrossed version. Not as convenient but it works. Be sure to tell Apple about the problem via Feedback - Photos - Apple
