My screen is not responding.

Hi, I have an iPhone SE 2016 were my screen is not responding. I would like to try a reset and see if that helps, before I buy a new one. Sadly, for all methods I can find, you need a working screen or they don't work. Is there a way to reset to factory preset by using only buttons?

If the screen isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad, click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT201406

If that above does not help, you can erase a device via iCloud but I am not optimistic about that solving your problem. It also won't erase it completely, but perhaps sufficiently in terms of what you are hoping to accomplish.

Erase a device in Find My iPhone on iCloud.com - https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud/erase-your-device-mmfc0ef36f/icloud

Eventually you have to resort to:
