16" MacBook Pro lagging when typing

I bought a brand new 16" MacBook Pro 1 TB yesterday, When I am typing it seems to freeze for a split second then carry on. So today I went back to the apple store I bought it from and they decided to give me a replacement. And now on the replacement I am facing the same issue.

When I first got them they were running macOS Catalina and I updated them to Big Sur - 11.4 .

I have tried doing a SMC and PRAM reset but still no difference, and also when I got the replacement I set up the computer as a new machine and manually transferred all my files over.

Can the 16" run Big sur? My 2019 iMac runs it fine and that only has an i5.

Any suggestions would very much be appreciated!

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205749

If that opportunity has past, the second best way is use the Migration Assistant.

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus/VPN

any MacBook Pro (Late 2013 or later) can run BigSur— this is not an issue

Macbook Pro 16 inch 2019. Every time I wake from sleep, the bluetooth keyboard lags and repeats keys. I have to reset the bluetooth module EVERY time. Doing it now. This is a bug in the latest version of Big Sur, since it's new behavior. Tried it with three apple keyboards, two of the old ones and the new magic keyboard. Same issue, no difference. There's no other keyboard software installed, it's all apple devices. I've reset the bluetooth module and reset the devices a dozen times. BUG.
