I am new to Mac (MacBook Air Big Sur 11.2.3) and opened Migration Assistant by mistake then cancelled the task. Now I am unable to open any of my files or open the Apple Pages program.

This has been a very common question over the last few days. Fortunately theres a simple solution: Update your macOS to 11.4 (the current version at this writing).
The OS update will also cure the same issue with Numbers and Keynote.
