MacBook Pro Virus

I clearly have a virus on my laptop. I installed and payed for Norton and it keeps notifying me that my computer is at risk and that they were able to fix some issues but not all. The biggest problem is my search engine. I have it set for Google but when I go to search for something it shows a blank screen with "hi" on it...creepy. So I went to preferences and noticed an odd search engine that I can't even delete. Google chrome keeps on crashing and needing to be verified. I deleted and reinstalled but it's still the same. I also looked up that search engine and it's a confirmed Virus. Safari has the same problem now too. Norton is clearly not helping me - can I get a virus cleanse at an Apple store? Or any recommendations for where/how to remove viruses from my laptop? Thanks!
