restart iPhone 8 plus if touch screen won't let slide button

I am trying to restart my iPhone 8 plus and touch screen is working intermittently. How can I turn off if can't slide button?

Try a "forced" restart of your device, using these instructions:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support
