Text on phone and watch

Is there any way for me to get a notification on both my phone and watch? When I get phone calls they both go off which is nice, but I’m missing a bunch of text messages because either my phone doesn’t ding or the watch may be too quiet or sometimes doesn’t event alert me. If they both go off I’d be much happier about that.
