Does deleting gmail app from iPhone delete account completely? Trying to fix problem of gmail app not syncing.

No. Removing the app will not delete your gmail account.

Thanks for your quick reply! Yes, but if I delete app, instead of removing, will my gmail acct be deleted?

No.

Apple and Google are not subsidiaries. They are their own companies. So, deletion will not affect your gmail account.
