On my new iPhone 12 & iPad Air 4, my favorite websites icons are grayed out. If I visit the website, the original color icon will reappear but it will return to a gray icon with letter if the device is powered down and up. I have tried to delete the icon and re-establish the icon but this is only a temporary fix too. I have also tried to tap icon with color and save it. This was also unsuccessful

I am still dealing with greyed out icons on Safari with favorite websites. I have cleared my history and cookies on both my new iPhone 12 and iPad Air 4. I also visited each website. Both devices are up to date with iOS 14.7.1. When I visit the website, the icons are restored to full color with website logo but this is only temporary. After a period of time they return to be greyed out. I am not sure what is going on. I had no issue with my previous devices like this. Does anyone know how to fix this? The websites seem to function ok; it is just annoying to locate the correct website when greyed out
