How to edit what the space bar does

Whenever i am typing in certain apps and then press the space bar. Sometimes it exits where i am typing is there a way to edit this.

Hi,

1) Perhaps first you can try closing all your open apps:

Press the Home button twice and swipe close all your open apps to close them.

2) Restart your iPad:

Press the Top button and the Home button both together until you see an Apple logo then you can release your fingers.
