Icon for Contacts hidden. App works but only through phone.

At some point (I think after a update) the icon for Contacts went hidden. Looking for it in the Apps Lib shows nothing. Going to then App Store, it indicates I have it and it wants to open it. That's good, but once I leave the screen there is no icon on the home page. I can't delete it, because I can't get to it, and I can't get it onto a home page because the only open button is either on the App Store or from inside the Phone Icon. VERY frustrating.
