My icon for contacts has disappeared ? Why & where is it?

I understand that the Contacts app is missing on your iPhone 7 running iOS version 15.

Your Contacts app is probably accidentally removed from the Home Screen, however, it may still exist in the App Library. The App Library is the last Home Screen on your iPhone when you continue to SWIPE LEFT until you reach it. Once you are in the App Library, then you can search and find the Contacts app. Once found, then you can DRAG the app out of there and place it on your favorite spot of the Home Screen.

If you cannot find the Contacts app in the App Library, then you may have deleted it from the iPhone. To install it again, open the App Store app and search for “Contacts”. Once your find the Apple Contacts app, then you can download and install it on your iPhone again.

Because you moved it to another page of your Home screen or deleted it from the Home screen. Go to the App Library (the last page of the Home screen) find it in the alphabetical list, and drag it back to where you want it.

You can also always see your contacts in the Phone app.
