MacBook Air keyboard and trackpad issues

Hey, I have a 2015 MacBook Air. Recently the keyboard and trackpad stopped working. However it does work to type in my password on wake up and restarts, and will also work after the screen saver turns on. Otherwise I’m using a wireless keyboard/trackpad. I’ve tried a lot of the how tos online but I’m super confused as those are all for it not working ever. But mine works… sometimes. Help!!

Curious, if your trackpad and keyboard area of MacBook Air, may appear to be uneven;

if there's indication of battery that could be swollen; if so, that can account for issues.

And if that's a remote possibility, an appointment or send-in service (for inspection &

estimate) may be advisable at this point. Even if the top MacBook Air's case is flat.
