I recently bought a new iPhone and qualify for the free 3 months Apple TV+ but when pressing Check Eligibility I do not get the offer. I get paid for subscription offers. Is this down to the fact that I had a free subscription in 2020 for a phone I got for my wife?

If you or a family member have already redeemed the offer, you can't redeem it again.

If you bought the new device and the wife’s device using the same credentials then no, you cannot get another free trial subscription.
