Cannot download anything. Images/files/website formatting etc.

Something odd has happened and I would like to know if anyone has any idea on how I can fix this. For some reason, when I visit websites online, most images do not download. I cannot download files either. Nothing downloads. Websites look as though they have no formatting, just text/links, etc. Ive tried different browsers. There is no antivirus software on. Other computers on the same network are fine. The backup does the same thing. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and check again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
