I have subscribed to apple tv but I cannot get it to run on OS 13.6 - The notes say you can... is it possible or not?

The Apple TV app on macOS is available for (bundled with) macOS Catalina 10.15 or later.

Macs with earlier versions macOS will need to view Apple TV+ on the web at tv.apple.com.

• On macOS 10.14 or earlier, you can watch Apple TV+ movies and TV shows on the web.
• On macOS 10.14 or earlier, you can watch iTunes Store movies and TV shows in the iTunes application.
• On macOS 10.14 or earlier, other Apple TV app Channel subscriptions are not available.

To view Apple TV+ on the web, sign in (top right corner) with the Apple ID account that has the subscription.

Then you will have access to all the content there. No ads. Click the big blue Play button, or select an episode.
