2020 iMac 27" Randomly restarts but no crash logs

I have a new (less than one month old) 27" iMac 5k that keeps randomly crashing. it will shut down with a black screen on main with green screen on external monitor then reboot with a pop up saying 'your computer restarted because of a problem, click yes to reopen all apps' there is no option to send a report and there are no crash logs. digging into logs there are a few spin logs but no crashes. it also does it super randomly, with no common apps open each time it does it. any help would be greatly appreciated!
