How do I recover the downloads file because I could not recover it from Finder

Thank you very much. You saved me. I have one last question if you can answer it. I am very thankful to you. I also have a small problem when I open the finder. The menu does not appear for me until I enlarge the screen and press the right corner and it appears.
Did you or the previous owner (if there is one) change the download location? I did that because I didn't want downloads (temporary files too me) to be backed up if I forget to move them to a more permanent location.
Check your browser settings to see if the download location has been changed.
Other than that, I don't really understand what you mean by "recover". Did you delete them and now want them back?
Open Finder and drag and drop the Downloads folder onto the dock. Once there it will open to the folder contents. You need to drop it onto the dock in same space where the Trash is. Not in the Trash; next to it. Dunno what that area is called that has the trash can icon.
In Finder->Preferences:
I did this before I asked and when I pressed the button to move it suddenly disappeared and I can't find it anymore, I restarted the laptop and it didn't work I couldn't find the icon
yeah, I mean I deleted it from "Dock" I think it's called like that anyway I sherced how can I get it back to it and i can not find the "downloaded's icon" in the finder
