When I go into fullscreen for certain games that change what seems to be the ratio, a red artifact border appears where black should be. I tried doing a NPRAM reset to no avail. Here is an image of the red border. It is scaled down to meet the uploading size limits.

Try deleting the Game and compare your results.

Don't have a MBP but see if you have the option to turn off GPU boost or whatever it's called. There were other issues earlier that turning off the GPU cleared up a graphics issue.
I uninstalled the game, restarted, uninstalled and reinstalled the second game that had this problem, and when I launched it, it still has the red border. I had read somewhere about someone having the same issue after wiping their keyboard. Is there some keyboard shortcut that would cause this?

I'm not sure what solved the problem, but I got up this morning (I didn't reload the OS) and now the lines are nowhere to be found
If you mean Automatic Graphics switching, unfortunately I do not, this is a 13" model and it has integrated graphics.
