Need mute for iPhone 13 ios 15 when using siri with bluetooth cycle helmet

It seems siri continues to listen to the iphone microphone when paired to a bluetooth headset. This is not a problem in quiet environments, but when trying to use siri with your iphone mounted on a motorcycle and using a Bluetooth enabled helmet, siri stops working as soon as the motorcycle is started and just idling. I verified my helmet is paired fine, and siri can hear me from my helmet mic as long as there is no noise being picked up by the iphone mic. I tested siri with my helmet paired in a quiet room, and it works well until there is any background noise and siri no longer responds to Hey Siri from my bluetooth mic. Even just turning a TV on in the background reproduces the problem. There should be a siri or Bluetooth setting to turn off the iphone mic when using a bluetooth headset mic, especially when using a bluetooth enabled helmet in noisy environments.
