How to Freeze Columns in Numbers?

I have not figured out how to freeze columns in numbers v 11.2 by using these instructions. Changing the number of columns to freeze has no effect.

There is no "freeze columns" function in Numbers.

There is no "freeze rows" function in Numbers.

The two functions that are provided are:

Freeze Header columns

and

Freeze Header rows.

The table shown in your screen shot contains two Header rows, and at least one Header column, and may have more, but these are hidden behind the open menu.

These would be the only rows and column(s) to freeze (stay on screen as you scroll the table up or to the left.)

Barry

Your screenshot suggests you are trying to change the number of rows, not columns. You should get the result you want by changing the number of columns.
