A notice popped up that my username and password were used on a new iPad device to access messaging and FaceTime

I pressed OK but I never opened any new devices or used any devices at all I don’t know if this is a scam I looked on my phone and iPad and cannot find any messaging and emails or text messages

Do I need to take further action to protect my account
