I want to move only a few files from the photos app to an external hard drive.How do I do that? I can certainly back up photos but I need to create some space
MacBook Air (2020 or later)
Select them and then file>export.
You may need to export first to a folder on your system drive (eg a folder on your desktop) then drag to the external drive. Especially if the external drive is a non apple format.
