Child's iPhone not showing in Family Sharing

My eldest son got an iPhone (8 reconditioned) for Christmas, which I've set up & logged in to with his Apple ID.


In Family Sharing I can see Child 1's iPad & Child 2's iPad, but Child 1's iPhone is not showing in the list of devices.


I have logged out of iCloud on all devices, turned them off & on again etc.


In "Find My..." I can see both iPads & the iPhon 8.


In Airdrop I can see both iPads but NOT the iPhone 8 (Bluetooth is on).


Can anyone please advise??

Maybe give it a bit of time. Sometimes changes to things in iCloud don't reflect immediately on all devices.


If you still have problems, it sounds to me like you have done everything I might suggest so:


Contact Apple. Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.


or:


Contact Apple for support and service --> "See a list of Apple phone numbers around the world."
