Upgrade apple TV

Hello

I bought a new Apple TV 4K and before I upgrade I wanted to ask if there is a upgrade process for Apple TV.

Will my apps be installed when I upgrade?

will my usernames and passwords be transferred to the new apple tv

are there specific instructions that I need to folllow to ensure a successful upgrade from my current applets to the new one’

Upgrade from what?

Best you can do is to activate One Home Screen on the current model, before setting up the new one. Then apps can be transferred if set to use the One Home Screen account preferences during setup of the new one.
