Swapping out Apple TV 4K and keeping settings

I'm about to swap out my previous gen ATV 4K for a new gen model (moving the first unit to a different room). When I connect and start up the new unit, will it pull down all my apps, "Up Next", etc. if I sign in with my usual Apple ID? Or, is there something else I need to do to "migrate" the settings from the older unit?

thanks!

First set the old one to use “One Home Screen”, then let the new one also use “One Home Screen” (maybe you get asked during setup?}, then the apps will sync. Up Next is an account feature, that already works across devices.
