I get an Error message (-100) on appletv?

Trying to connect a freshly restored Apple TV 3 (MC572LL/A) (A1378) (TVOS 6.2.1 build 6698.99.50.41) to my iPhone 12 (iOS 15.2) Hotspot, but keep getting the message "The Wifi password you entered is not correct. Try again (-100)".

Problem is, I did not get prompted to enter a password, and I cannot find a way to correct this problem. And the iPhone Hotspot cannot be set up without a password...

Please advise.

Try connecting by using the Other option, instead of selecting a listed network.

Then enter both the SSID network name and its password.

Also set the iPhone hotspot to use the Maximize Compatibility option.
